Tips for teaching the letter O
Say the letter name and its sound before tracing ("O says o as in owl"). Have your child trace the gray letters with a finger first, then a crayon or thick pencil — fine-motor control comes before pencil grip. One page a day beats five pages once a week, and always end on a success.
